SIMPLE RULES OF MATHEMATICS

• 1) 3 x 1 = 3 (Multiplying by 1 always results in same number)

• 2) 3 x 2 = 2 x 3 (Multiplication of two numbers result in same value if the order of multiplication is reversed as shown)

• 3) 3x 10= 30

• 3x 100 = 300

• 3 x 1000 = 3000

The above shows that when multiplied by values of 10, 100 and 1000 the result is just adding 0's to the number as shown above.

• 9 x 0 = 0 (Mulitplying any number with 0 is always 0)

•  9 + 0 = 9 (Addition with 0 always results in same value)

• 9 - 0 = 9 (Subtraction with ) always results in same value)
